In the case of international marketing of goods, Customs is one of the entities responsible for ensuring the protection of intellectual property rights, Border Measures being an effective mechanism for reducing incidents of counterfeiting and forgery of trademarks, copyrights, patents, and others.
Our assistance begins with the registration of intellectual property rights of our clients before Customs Authorities, in order to prevent the import, distribution and sale of infringing or counterfeit products. Thus, we constantly monitor the possible entry of illegitimate products that are provisionally detained upon arrival and after following administrative procedures, banned from entering Ecuador.
